DRG 200 - Digital Residential Gateway
The DRG 200 is purpose built to fit home LAN environments,
either Fibre To The Home or Ethernet To The Home. It delivers
premium performance and functionality at an affordable price. It is
an L2 non-blocking switch, with support for advanced triple-play
services such as IPTV. Functionalities such as IGMP snooping for
multicast control and Quality of Service (QoS) per port are
included.
The DRG 200 is part of PacketFront's automated
broadband solution, and is monitored by PacketFront's
control and provisioning system, BECS™,
via the broadband router, ASR. Through the capabilities in BECS
each service can be tracked all the way to the
end user’s DRG, making troubleshooting easier and faster, and
significant values for the customer support helpdesk are
offered.
PacketFront is offering the DRG Outdoor Enclosure for deployment in areas where it is desirable to
place the DRG 200 in an outdoor environment, e.g. in the North American market.
The DRG Outdoor Enclosure is specially designed to house outdoor
network equipment for FTTH and broadband access, and enables the values of PacketFront's automated broadband solution
in such
scenarios.
