Customer Premises Equipment

PacketFront's CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) comprises end user equipment for triple-play services. It consists of the Digital Residential Gateways (DRG) series which is offered in several designs and with different functionality to fulfil the various end user and network operator needs.

All PacketFront DRGs are controlled and provisioned from the central part of PacketFront's broadband network, i.e. from BECS via the ASR series. However, in networks where the DRGs are used without BECS or ASRs, PacketFront’s Home Device Director (HDD) can be managing the DRGs.

Included in the CPE family is also equipment that allows CATV network operators a smooth migration to an all-IP network.
