IPD 1000 - IP DSLAM
PacketFront's IP DSLAM, the IPD 1000 series, secures the
delivery of high quality triple-play services over an ADSL2+
infrastructure, including advanced TV over IP. Built with the same architecture
as our FTTH
solution
, it provides
unique functionality to the network operator.
The IPD is controlled from BECS and
the
ASR series of broadband routers, meaning that the ADSL2+ solution
is built with the same architecture as our FTTH
solution, allowing the benefits of PacketFront's automated
broadband solution.
The IPD 1000 series is purpose built for the telco-grade ADSL market, and
delivers full multi-layer capabilities and manageability at minimum
maintenance.
In areas where economy or geography does not allow for fiber as access media,
the IPD 1000 series is the perfect choice. With 29Mbit/s to the end user, it
enables triple-play services including TV over IP, at locations never thought
possible.

asynchronous bandwidth up to 29 Mbps downstream and 3 Mbps upstream. The unit has
