Niclas Sonesson - Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Niclas comes from Bredbandsbolaget (B2), where he managed a number of technical leading-edge service provider projects. He has also held management positions at leading Swedish operators like Tele2 and NetCom. Niclas has been the CTO of PacketFront since the start and has also led the R&D and Product Management teams. Prior to taking on the position as CEO, he was the COO of the company.

Lars Lindström - Chief Financial Officer
Lars has a background from manufacturing industry, financial services, real estate, health care and advertising/media. He has held positions as CEO, CFO and Business Unit Manager with Dynapac, SEB, Alfred Berg, Trygg-Hansa, Swedbank and A-Com. He has a Master of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Law.

Per Olof Stark - VP Global Sales & Marketing
Per-Olof has been with the company since 2002 and has held the position as VP Sales EMEA. He has built the PacketFront sales organization and established the company as a European leader with 400.000 FTTH ports shipped. Prior to PacketFront, he was Senior Account Manager for Cisco Systems and spent 11 years with IBM. He has a degree from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

Johnny Hedlund - VP Development
Johnny has spent the last 12 years in various management positions in the wireless telecommunications industry. He joins PacketFront from his latest position as VP Product Development at Powerwave Technologies. Johnny has a Masters degree in Computer Science.

Peter Röing - VP Operations
Peter has a background from mainly the EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Service) industry where he has held various management positions with several global companies. Prior to PacketFront, he spent 7 years in various international positions within Sanmina–SCI.

Mats E. Jonsson - Co-founder and Chief Legal Councel
Mats has a Master of Law from Stockholm University in 1991. After commencing the judge education at the District Court of Handen, Mats worked seven years as a business lawyer with i.a. Bergling & Partners Lawfirm before he joined Bredbandsbolaget (B2) as Legal Councel in 2000.

Gunilla Lindgren - Human Resource Manager
Gunilla has a background from the telecom industry where she has been working in various management positions and organizations within Ericsson and 42Networks. Previously she was Human Resource Manager at 42Networks.

Hans Blomberg - Chairman of the Board

Hans is General Partner of European Equity Partners (EEP) and a director of Prenax and Transmode. Prior to EEP, Hans worked actively with investments in technology related growth companies as a private investor. Between 1987 and 1992, Hans served as Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions at Merrill Lynch International. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1987 and his MSc in Electrical Engineering from Linkoping Institute of Technology in 1983.

Martin Thunman - Co-founder of PacketFront and Vice Chairman of the Board

Prior to PacketFront, where he served as CEO for 7 years, Martin spent 5 years with Cisco Systems where he held a number of different sales positions. He has a Master of Science in Business Administration from Lund University, Sweden.

Maurizio Caio - Founder and Managing Partner of TLcom

After four years with McKinsey & Company in Europe, Maurizio became a founding partner of Bain & Company in Italy and was - until April 1999 - a Director of Bain & Company's telecom/technology practice. He has spent 15 years advising CEO's and senior management of European and Silicon Valley telecommunications, technology and media companies.

Maurizio has a Summa cum Laude Laurea degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan and New York University, and an MBA from Stanford University. Maurizio sits on a number of boards including Netscalibur and Topica.

Simon Cornwell - Venture Partner of Amadeus Capital Partners

Simon joined Amadeus in 2001 from Two Way TV, a digital TV entertainment and technology company, where he was chief executive. Prior to founding Two Way TV, Simon worked at the Boston Consulting Group in the US and at the Granada Group in the UK.

Simon holds a Masters degree in Management from Yale University and an MA in Modern Languages from Oxford. Simon sits on a number of boards including that of Transmode AB.
